This is one of the most widely researched topics here on the internet and it has a lot of content. But a lot of these techniques will probably not work because there are a lot of fads and people tend to crash diets. Whether you want to shed a few pounds or lose a lot of weight it can be achieved. And the best, safe and healthy way to lose weight is to lose naturally.

The first thing you want to do is to set a weight loss goal. What is your current weight and how much would you want to lose. When you want to achieve something the first thing you want to do is to sit down and plan, losing weight is no exception. Vision the kind of body you would want to have and how you would feel. This will help you feel motivated and get ready to start.

Change your mindset about food

Food is essential for our health and well-being and you want to start eating the right kinds of foods. Eat whole grains like whole-wheat flour, bulgur (cracked wheat), oatmeal, whole cornmeal and brown rice. Whole grains are packed with nutrients including protein, fiber, B vitamins, antioxidants and trace minerals (iron, zinc, copper and magnesium). A diet rich in whole grains has been shown to reduce obesity, some forms of cancer, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetable, they are part of a healthy balanced diet and can help you stay healthy. Fruits and vegetables are a good source of vitamins and minerals, including folate, vitamin C and potassium, They're an excellent source of dietary fiber, which can help to maintain a healthy gut and prevent constipation and other digestion problems. A diet high in fiber can also reduce your risk of bowel cancer. Include more protein in your diet and reduce starch. Examples of healthy protein are lean meat, poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts & seeds and legumes/ beans. Or dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese. You want to cut down starch because diets high in starches are linked to a higher risk of diabetes, heart disease and weight gain.

Eat mindfully

Research has shown that when you eat slowly, carefully chewing your food you get full faster that when you do when you eat whilst you're occupied or watching television. Eat slowly taking time to appreciate the texture and test of food. Break down meals into about 5 small meals a day. Eating regularly in small portions allows food to be digested well before the next meal.

Drink lots of water

Drink plenty of water, about 2 liters a day. Water is a naturally refreshing energy drink. It also helps detox the body and flush out toxins. You may drink a glass of warm water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to speed up your metabolism. And a glass of water before each meal may help you get full faster and limit the amount of food you eat. I will be writing more about the amazing health benefits of water so make sure to keep reading.

Exercise

Exercising helps boost metabolism and burn excess fat. Choose an exercise that you enjoy. You can take a 30minutes walk everyday, jog for 15 minutes in a beautiful neighborhood or join a dancing class. Regular exercise gives an enormous sense of well-being, boost self confidence and self esteem and increases energy. Exercising is a powerful medicine for many common mental health challenges. It can also have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety and ADH. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better and boosts your overall mood. Choose to start small and gradually increase your routine so you do not overwhelm yourself and quit only after a few days. The trick is to start!

Practice relaxation techniques

Weight gain can be a result of emotional eating. You eat because you're sad! It is okay to be emotional sometimes, we all go through it at some point in out lives. Relaxation techniques help calm down your mind and bring you inner peace. They help you focus on the present moment. Live through each moment with inner peace knowing that you're perfectly okay. You can join a yoga or meditation class.

Practice positive affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you you repeat them often and believe in them you can start to make positive changes. Affirmations have been used to successfully treat people with low self-esteem. depression and other mental health conditions. And they have been shown to stimulate the areas in our brains that make us more likely to effect positive change in regard to our health. A stringer sense of self-worth makes you more likely to improve your own well-being. So for example, you can use affirmations like:

I am worthy

I am healthy

I am beautiful and attractive

I believe in myself

I am confident in myself and my abilities

Get plenty of sleep

An adult should get up to 7-8hours of sleep per night. Getting enough sleep helps keep your mind and body healthy. It can help prevent weight gain. If you don't get enough sleep your body produces ghrelin, a hormone that boosts appetite. Your body also decreases the production of leptin, a hormone that tells you you're full. Sleep can boost your immune system and also increase exercise performance.

Weight loss products

Universal Nutrition Super Cuts 3-144 Tablets

Description

  • Two-Stage

  • Lipotropic and Diuretic Complex

  • Dietary Supplement

Universal Nutrition Super Cuts 3 is enhanced with L-carnitine and green tea

Ingredients

Whey (milk), stearic, magnesium stearate, pharmaceutical glaze

Universal Nutrition Super Cuts 3 contains L-carnitine which is an amino acid derivative that transports fatty acids into your cells to be processed for energy. L-carnitine is provided by your body and also available as a supplement. It plays a crucial role in the production of energy by transporting fatty acids into your cell's mitochondria.

The mitochondria act as engines within your cells, burning these fats to create usable energy. In theory using L-carnitine as a weight loss supplement makes sense. Since it helps move more fatty acids into your cells to be burned for energy, you might think this would increase your ability to burn fat and lose weight.

While it may aid in weight loss, a thorough diet and exercise regimen must be in place.

Universal Nutrition Super Cuts 3 also contains Green tea extract which help boosts metabolism and aid weight loss. Green tea is one of the most commonly consumed teas in the world. Green tea extract is its concentrated form, with just one capsule containing the same amount of active ingredients as an average cup of green tea.

Like green tea, green tea extract is a great source of antioxidants. These have been credited with a range of health benefits from promoting heart, liver and brain health to improving your skin and even reducing the risk of cancer.

What's more, many studies have looked at green tea extract's ability to aid weight loss. In fact, many weight loss products list it as a key ingredient.

Green tea extract is rich in catechins, and it contains a decent amount of caffeine. Interestingly, it seems that this combination of ingredients is responsible for its weight loss properties.

Both catechins and caffeine have been shown to assist in weight loss by regulating the hormones that can enhance thermogenesis.

Thermogenesis is the process by which your body burns calories to digest food and produce heat. Green tea has been shown to boost this process by making your body more effective at burning calories, which can lead to weight loss.
